Get Your Healthy Idea Funded!

May 24, 2013 Comments Off on Get Your Healthy Idea Funded! admin The Revere on the Move Initiative is, once again, inviting the whole community to apply for their mini grant opportunity. Community organizations, City departments, the schools, neighborhood organizations and businesses are welcome to fill out the application proposing an idea on how to make it easier, for their constituents, to live healthier lives and/or have easier access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity.

On this occasion, we are funding two types of proposals. We are funding projects that are purely programs and projects that create changes in the environment either physically or through policy or system changes.

New on this round is a Community Workshop! Revere on the Move will be offering hands-on-help for filling out the application on Thursday, May 30 in the Community Room of the Police Department, 400 Revere Beach Parkway. Please join us from 6-7:30, bring your idea, and we will work on it together! For more information, please contact Sylvia Chiang at 781-485-6161.
