THE 2ND ANNUAL COMMUNITY WALK TO RECOVERY


This event is led by Revere High School students and teachers and the Revere CARES Coalition. The walk connects prevention efforts among youth and shows support for community members who have lost a loved one to substance abuse and addiction. The walk begins with a rally for students to reenergize the youth Above the Influence campaign and culminates at the Revere Beach Memorial, a candlelight vigil to remember those whose lives have been cut short due to alcohol and other drugs.

 REGISTRATION OPENS AT:  4:00 p.m.

 LOCATION:  Beachmont School

--The first 400 students who register will receive an Above the Influence t-shirt

--High School students will get up to 4 hours of community service hours

--Participate in the Above the Influence art project

--Special speakers and DJ 


THE 6TH ANNUAL REVERE BEACH MEMORIAL


An event to remember those whose lives have been cut short due to alcohol and drugs. You may pre-register a loved one's name by calling (781) 485-6404 or register in person between 6:00-7:00 p.m. on September 23rd. You are also invited to bring a photo of your deceased loved one  to post on the memory wall during the event.

TIME:  7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
