The programs funded by Revere CARES within the Revere Public Schools are collectively known as the Youth Empowered for Success (Y.E.S) Programs. They include the following:
- Power of Know/Dance Team
- RHS Connect
- Green Team/Community Service
- Drama Guild
- The Future Teacher’s Club
- Health & Fitness
The YES Programs serves as the umbrella for all activities that fall under the Revere CARES and Revere Public School partnership. The goals of the programs are to:
- Develop student leadership skills among high school and middle school students
- Identify and enhance students’ assets by building from the students own strengths
- Provide opportunities for student advocacy
- Increase knowledge and awareness of the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD).
- Reduce violence and substance use
- Expose students to potential careers
- Provide mentorship opportunities
