Kick off Celebration of the Revere on the Move

Join us for a Walk to School event on Wednesday, November 14 starting at 7:30AM at the Immaculate Conception Church and ending at the McKinley School, followed by a City Hall Breakfast @ 8:00AM. Thanks to new funding from Partners Healthcare, Revere on the Move will celebrate the continuation of its commitment to obesity prevention as a Mass in Motion community. This commitment includes a new public awareness campaign to promote healthy eating and active living.

Launched in 2009 by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Mass in Motion is a state-wide obesity prevention initiative that stresses the importance of healthy eating and physical activity. The multi-media campaign highlighting Mass in Motion is on view throughout Revere on MBTA buses, subway stations, and commuter rail trains, as well as at Boston.com and at the Showcase Theatre in Revere.
