This past November and December coalition staff and volunteers visited all schools in Revere to ask parents to pledge to talk to their kids about not using drugs and alcohol. This year we also shared a Fact Sheet with the latest information on the number of Revere youth who have reported using alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and prescription drugs. We also included information about prescription drug misuse to keep parents vigilant on this issue.

En Noviembre y Diciembre del año pasado, miembros de nuestra coalición y voluntarios visitaron todas las escuelas de Revere para pedirles a los padres que firmaran una promesa diciendo que hablarían con sus hijos sobre no usar alcohol y drogas. También compartimos información sobre el porcentaje de jóvenes que han reportado haber usado alcohol, tabaco, y mariguana; o reportado abusar de medicinas recetadas alguna vez en su vida. También incluimos información sobre el abuso de las medicinas recetadas para que los padres se mantengan en alerta.
